Yaris 2001 1.0L coolant level question

Hi

Just checked my neighbours old 1.0 Y reg yaris and can't tell the symbols on the expansion tank.

It has C at the bottom and F at the top. It's bang on C and the engine is cold. I wondered if C meant cold? Seems around 400ml would pop it up to F.

I'd suggest you don't fill it to F. The level should be between min and max. As long as it's above the min, it's good!

Above the F is not a big problem either but ideally should be between E and F. However, I always put it at exactly F so I can track if the car loose some coolant
