Help...intermittent issue

Hello. New to this group. I've recently finished rebuilding me 185 c/s. 640 miles on fully rebuild engine. Kept standard apart from 3 inch downpipe to 2.5 straight exhaust and a boost controller. Having issues with when I go on the throttle it kind misses/retards for a second or 2 and then goes. When this happens boost won't rise. New leads, plugs, coil, changed out distributor. Checked temp sensor and its within spec. Triple checked vacuum lines. Tvsv disconnected. Injectors taken out and cleaned with new seals put in.  Does any one know what else could cause this or had this issue. When it isn't being a pain it pulls fine....with a bit more lag than I expected but still strong. I'm out of knowledge here. Need yere help please. Thanks

Maybe Celica Ireland could help you with this problem.

Thanks for response. I found the issue. A capacitor in the ecu burst. 18cents and a solder iron had it fixed.

Failing capacitors in the ECU are becoming a more common problem on the Gen' 5, even some of the Gen' 6 owners are getting them. Generally, it seems to be age related rather than a poor quality cap'.
