Cross Excel colours seem limited which suit the car best? I know this is subjective but Im not sure which to choose.

Also some Yaris Cross colours are limited to specific models which is shame as our preferred choice was not available in Excel.

As you said, paint colour is very subjective.  However, in recent years I’ve moved away from metallic and pearlescent paints due to the increased prices and I think a flat white colour with black wheels and trim looks the part.

This does irk me; Why does the top trim have LESS colour options than the lower specs?? It makes no sense!

For the Yaris and Yaris x particularly any colour I see on the roads I like it a lot , even that yellow metallic with black roof . They are all good.
Pure white is very good too, although with a lot of black plastics on the X it does look a bit like a van but who cares, still very nice car.
Toyota should actually offer Yaris cross van similar to Corolla commercial.
It might turn to be a greater success, they can offer it in icon trim with 2wd or awd-I option. Contractors and fleet will love it. I can see BT and some others are putting an order straightaway. Good ground clearance, small and compact outside while offering respective cargo inside. Very efficient and reliable  power train with minimum maintenance cost. They have to think about it. 👍

I think the colour choice isn’t very exciting with Toyota at the moment.  I wouldn’t have a French car given me but their colour choices are far more adventurous.

That is one of the trade-offs - Fanciness vs reliability

What was that saying, something like, you want the French and the Italians to do the design, and the Japanese and Germans to do the engineering, but very much not the other way around?

After being unable to make my mind up from the limited paint options on a Cross Excel I eventually decided on  an ash grey and black bitone GR after seeing one in the showroom. Im not really bothered about the GR badging but the choice of colours for the range seemed better to me.

£930 is the cost for faster colour. For me comes as standard, no extra charge, I always buy used 😂

In 2024 perhaps there will be new colours option, at least for Corolla been confirmed. 👍
