I've had my Aygo for almost a year and have never encountered this issue until last week. When I connect my phone via bluetooth the connection displays differently than normal, which doesn't allow me to change the songs and doesn't display the songs when playing music. It now just shows a screen with a pause/play button and a wee picture of a phone to stereo connection.

I have tried removing the pairing and forgetting the devices and reconnecting, which sets it back to normal whilst running, but when the switched off and on again, it reverts to the other screen again.

I have a Google Pixel 7, but as mentioned before, I have been using this phone since getting the car and it's worked perfectly.

Has anyone encountered this issue and are aware on how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wonder if your phone has done a update that’s caused this issue

similar thing happened to me when I had a older I phone

try another phone if you can , see if the phone is the cause …

check the setting on the phone as you can have its setup for handsfree only or audio only, as above more than likely an update change something, Do you have the 2 or 3 button radio ?
