MyT - remote climate and batter status issues

My 2022 RAV4 PHEV has had an issue connecting accurately with the MyT app for a few months now.  The dealer is a bit stumped and I'm hoping you can help.

Some of the MyT functionality works, like setting the charge time, and drive recording, mileage recording, but some key functionality does not like reporting on the cars current charge and remote setting climate control.

The remote charging status is set permanently at 83%, which doesn't reflect reality.

The climate control looks like it's permanently on, since the fan icon is constantly twirling, which is also wrong.  In the screen itself, I can't set nor turn off climate.  Of note, the climate screen shows that the current date is 08 March 2024 and that there are 273,307 minutes left on the climate control.  The turn off button is available.

To me, it seems that the DCM unit or the sim card has an issue.

Any thoughts?

Have you had the DCM software recall done. Not quite the same symptoms as yours but mine froze and I couldn't turn the climate control on from the app. Was resolved by the update and been fine since.
