Central Locking

I know there are all these wierd and wonderful ways of resetting windows, sunroofs etc, if they stop working, how do you do the one for central locking.

My central locking is not working, not through the key itself, or the remote, it will unlock by remote, but not lock, it just activates the alarm, help would be appreciated, thanks

EDIT

have just read the other post lol, will give that a go, but please also tell me if there is a sequence that can be done, in case the fuse thing dont work
