Looking to buy an Estima after a 15yr gap

Hi All,

I last had an older model with the mirror hanging off the back. Had it imported and loved it. (Estima Lucida Emina 2.2 Diesel auto)

That model had:

  • Seats that turned round
  • Removable seats
  • Could fit a double airbed in the back

We need our latest purchase to do the same, can anyone advise which models, year etc still do this for you.

All advice appreciated

Thankyou

John

Is it the Lucida with removable and turnable seats now?

I'm looking for any model, prob around about 2010 that still has these functions.. if that makes sense. Then i'll be reaching out to the forums for a good importer. Thanks

Nissan Elgrand has armchair seats that turn.

Unless you are hung up on an Estima then the Honda Stepwagon is worth a look too.

An Alphard is worth considering too but on both Estima and Alphard the variations are many so I reckon you'll have to hunt for the right interior spec.

Love the feedback, If I was looking for best economy, running costs (MPG), lets throw that in the mix.

I would imagine the Elgrand would be low MPG.

I would have to use this for 20 mile per day commute mon to Thurs

I will ask a friend about mpg for his Elgrand and report back.

For good fuel economy in a big vehicle, the Mitsubishi outlander PHEV is a good option. A mini cab driver near me gets around 52mpg on his European runs and a bit more when poodling around London.

Friend averages 27mpg on a run for a 290bhp 3.5ltr Elgrand.

They say size isn't important, but for me it is, nice roomy place to sleep, but ok to drive  (Fuel Economy)

Only gonna do this once
