My 06 Yaris

Hi guys

 

Just wondering from where to get original oil + filter for my 06 Yaris as I use to get it from a guy on eBay (e-hybrid) but I have some trust issues after a few deliveries that they were fine the last one the oil seems to be different (I could be wrong)

I've looked at the official Toyota eBay account but the prices are a lot higher?!? There are also a lot of other sellers with a lot of different prices but not enough reviews to make me want to buy from them

I did not ask Toyota if maybe they sell it directly ?

The problem you have is there is that much counterfeit stuff out there and is difficult to spot, if it's really cheap it could why, I could get 10 ltrs of oil for the price of 5ltrs on the bay for my Lexus RX300, I did wonder why, but after having it written off by some moron it didn't have time to make a difference, your choice.

That is exactly my problem, from where can I buy good quality oil that is for sure original

A known brand of the recommended type bought from a shop or garage would be better if you are worried a mail order might be too cheap.

Amazon will usually always be a bit dearer as sometimes quicker delivery and the fee they charge sellers.

If you want to buy original Toyota oil or any other original part buy only from Toyota official dealer r parts resellers.
This e hybrid is an independent seller that might offer some original parts but remember that he has started his business with fake spark plugs.
First account was closed , now he has a few more accounts on eBay.  
I don’t understand how people can trust and buy parts from similar traders There are genuine sellers on eBay like Toyota official store, Burrows, Snows group west etc , these are dealers and their stock is original. 
Another option perhaps is to buy non genuine Toyota oil. There are tons of good quality engine oils that meet or exceed the Toyota specifications. Sellers on eBay like Opie Oils, pippercross , Castrol, etc or directly from their websites. 👍

I still want to use original parts as the car has only 70 k miles and still runs fine.

You know, most oil comes from only handful of refiners

Castrol is the OEM for toyota, magnatec is to toyota oem specs
