Can't really tell from the photo. Is it something hanging from an air deflector thingy?

Looks like the clip/fastener that secures the wind deflector to the frame.?

The drivers side one is missing, yes they hang from the wind deflectors but only on the front windows.

Mine are on all four deflectors.... two clips on each.

The drivers side one is missing, 2 of the others are not attached properly hence hanging but you are correct there are two each on the rear windows that are attached properly so barely visible under the wind deflectors.

TBH I'm not sure how important the clips are as the deflectors are mainly secured by the adhesive strip which seems very secure...

maybe it's a case of belt and braces.?

These are the old design Heko wind deflectors stuck to the outside of the car, those clips can be a royal pain,

They have moved over to stainless steel channel clips and deflectors that fit in to the rubbers
