Does anyone know how much TPWS sensors cost for the 2019 onwards Touring Sports?

Hi, I did a quick search & it says £45.60 inc vat each.

https://tpmswarehouse.co.uk/product/toyota-corolla-2019-replacement-tpms-sensor/

Then you need it fitted and get it linked to the car.

When I had my new tyres fitted the tyre fitters website said it included new valves. I was surprised and asked them if it was true, and the chap said "not for TPMS valves we'd go bankrupt very quickly if we did as they're about 30 - 50% of the cost of a tyre" . So it seems about right.

I think you can just change the valve core.

TPMS normally last long. About 10 years. Toyota TPMS from Pacific is very specific. Aftermarket work for only short period.  If the car is pretty old, 10+y, we can just fool thr sensor by bypassing the TPMS receiver. Some Toyota models can be fooled by sorting the terminal on the receiver using wire-pin.

TPMS is not a critical component in car safety if we regularly check the tire pressures. It is only in Europe this becomes necessity for passing MOT.

I love mine - Every time I hit a particularly nasty pothole, instead of going oh **** oh **** oh **** until I can stop somewhere to check, I can just flick to the TPMS display and see if the pressures are going down on a tyre

This has saved a lot of anxiety!
