I had one of the earliest new shapes in the UK (2019) and its was so rare you almost felt the urge to wave when you saw another.
Now they are everywhere.

sure it has some areas it could be improved but it does do a lot - very well indeed.

I wave at other Ravs the same shape and my wife laughs at me as I have had 0 waves back! 
 

“ohh here’s one coming, watch!” = blanked. 

 

i used to drive an Alfa Romeo 159 and it was much more sociable with waves!

Now the old VW I have back in the days always got a wave.

I often get a wave from fellow GT86 drivers when in mine, never in the Corolla though!!

SAABs were like that, one owner congratulating the other on their superb choice.

My second SAAB used to get lots of attention too, mainly France where the ES-A-BE (SAAB) was very rare.  They were always flashing their lights at me.  Of course it might have been my daylight running lights, a novelty in those days.

Now people flash when you don't have lights.😆
