Carbon Bonnet

im thinking about getting one these for my car.

does anyone know if these are availble for starlets,and how much do they roughly cost?

Only ever seen these for Glanza's and the bonnet is different due to the lights

i remmember seing a civic way back in bansai a couple of years back that had a real carbon weave put over the standard bonnet. from a company sometwhere in essex. cost him 200sheets...

thats what i was planning on doing. looks ni on identical at a fraction of the price.

It wouldn't cost too much to have a mould taken from an bonnet and have that made in lightweight GRP. That could be made with a black gelcoat, but using woven mat rather than chopped strand.

Looks like CF until you look really close, and a weight saving too.

Needless to say, the same could be done for EP91 Glanza and EP82 turbo

u got the name of the company that can do that?

im going to have to get the holes from the Badge smoothed and the hole bonnet painted so i thought of a carbon bonnet instead

i think it might have been essex racing but the only way of finding out would be to actualy check the magazine.

I got an idea, just go to Halfords and buy the carbon sheets and stick it urself!!!!

There is someplace that makes Carbon Skins for the bonnets and they look sweeeet. Obviously not as light as a full carbon bonnet mmmm B)

There are some guys on www.toyotaownersclub.com who are thinking of getting some carbon bonntes made for the Starlet. There was a post about it a while ago anyway.
