Spare wheel for 1.4D AWD model

Hey, new to the group, new to the car. We have very recently bought a 2010 1.4d AWD, we are extremely happy with the car, the handling is great and the diesel engine is surprisingly nippy. When we realised the car didn't come with a spare we were surprised, but felt that having an emergency kit was OK...how wrong can you be!!  This evening we caught the front passenger tyre on a high kerb and popped the tyre:-( it's taken 3hrs to get home (we were only 3 miles away!) We have learned alot, the 1.4d AWD CANNOT be towed, it HAS TO go on a flatbed, the emergency kit is a complete waste of time (shocker it had never been used). The tyre size isn't standard (the AA didn't have a spare the right size,.so he had to do a very long and drawn out process to enable him to be able to tow the car).  My question to the group is, what size/make of spare wheel do we purchase? Surely it's different to the 1.3 petrol version? We're off to Scotland in October so this has to be sorted by then.  Thanks in advance for your help.
