I have a 2023 Toyota Corolla and want to use a USB stick. I have tried everything and called many people and have gotten nowhere. Am I able to use it?

Was it discontinued? Is that why nobody knows? Please help! Thanks for your time.

My vehicle has two usb-c ports - one no far from the steering wheel, and the other in the middle storage area - I too, have usb music sticks, and have purchased a usb to usb-c cable to see if this works - Its a shame there is not a usb port somewhere.

Only the one near the steering wheel (low on the dash, near the glovebox) will work for anything other than charging. So long as the cable supports data transfer you should be fine, and it's probably a better idea than having a memory stick poking out of that socket to get knocked.

(waits for Frosty to point out that you can get low profile usb-c memory sticks....)

If this is the only data compatable us port, does that mean you can only connect your phone or a USB stick? Seems a bet of a backwards step considering there are 4 ports in my excel. Unless there is wireless Android Auto available.

That's right.

Unfortunately wireless AA requires an aftermarket dongle, so you can't have that at the same time as a flash drive.

I connected by small usb-c to 3.0 usb port, and the 128 GB memory worked! - I thought initially it wasn't working, but it takes a while to load-up without any indication that it is working, but persevere and it should work!
