Soft-touch trim in C-HR

The trim across my facia and around the edge of my media system is, in my car, a medium blue.  To the touch it has a vinyl feel to it.  I have heard that care is needed to avoid scuffing/wearing down the surface finish when cleaning.  For his own car, our son uses baby wipes to clean the similar finish in his VW.  Does anyone know of a correct way to clean this trim?

Autoglym Interior Car Shampoo.  Spray on, wipe off.  I’ve been using this product for years and won’t use anything else.  Sells for about £7 in Halfords but you can also get it online.  Lasts for ages.

Thanks for that, James.  I do use some Autoglym products already, so will get this one as well.

Personally, I use Supagard Dash cleaner. I had some over from the Good Lady's Smart car. It is brilliant. I have used it on all my cars (including both my old and new C-HR, and the wife's Yaris). It works like a charm.

I have used Autoglym in the past, but personally prefer the Supagard for the dash. I swear by Autoglym glass cleaner, and use nothing else on the windows
