Just incase anyone hasn't updated it (could have been there for ages) I had a look at map software this morning and updated it from 2022 to 2023. Might be new, might have been there for months as I use Google maps on android/apple so can play my music and make calls but I just like to keep up to date!

2023 v1 came out at the end of March ... 😉

If things follow their normal course, 2023 v2 will be out by next month.

I will probably get to it for next Christmas 😆

Honestly took me forever to work out my car play (jump between Apple work and android personal phones) couldn't work out how to get siri to work then did to find out Amazon music is pants with it to then on android have even more issues. Jumped to spotify world is good and use Google maps !

I own the car for almost two years now and I've never bothered using the built-in sat nav. I mean, come on, who needs that when you've got Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?

I'd rather ask Toyota to shift funds from built-in sat nav and get us something that's actually useful like a rear camera washer.

I hate Google.  Can we have both?

I tend to use android auto with Google maps on longer journeys. One thing to note is that if you don't have a data signal and haven't downloaded the local map Google is useless, it's then I have to use the car one instead
