When I put 5 people or a reasonable load in the back the suspension is pretty low down. Obviously could be worn shocks as well but has anyone fitted beefed up suspension?

It can't be worn shocks, as they have no bearing on the ride height.  But, the springs could be weak.

Also, I'd expect it to sit lower when five up.

Agreed but how quickly it sinks could be shocks. Lets face it 2.2 tons over 13 years is bound to weaken any setup. I put heavier springs on my old work van as it carried equipment all the time and it maintained its correct posture and that only weighed 1.4 tons from memory.

Time for a part number if Flash22 has one or two?

The shocks have no effect on the ride height.  If you remove the shockers, the height won't change.

As in life, as it gets older gravity has an effect and anything heavy goes south

Thanks Bob, now to look at the load rating, did consider the coil spring assisters as a temporary solution until I have enough time to swap springs and shocks.
