12 days is supposed to be ok, if it is flat after 12 days, it is time for a new Battery and do not let it flat again.  remove the D/C CUT fuse in the fusebox inside engine bay to prevent any power drain without removing negative terminal.

Was this in your 2023 Corolla? I was away for 18 days and my car started fine, I do tend to drive a few hundred miles a week ranging from 4 miles to 50 mile journeys, if that makes a difference?

Mine went flat on a camping trip after having the boot open for some time loading and unloading, very disappointing.

Fortunately someone on the campsite was able to help with a jump-start.

Although I got myself confused knowing that the Battery in the 2 Litre is in the boot thinking I needed to access it to do the jump start.

By then I'd shut the boot and locked the car (which must have taken its last bit of juice from the battery).  Tried to open with the remote key - no joy - managed to get into the car itself through the drivers door with the manual key but then couldn't get into the boot with no Battery as I couldn't find any sort of manual release (not sure if there is one on the Corolla?).

Anyway, fortunately the guy who came to the rescue knew that there was a jump start point under the bonnet even though the 12 v Battery is in the boot.

Just mention in case anyone else finds themselves in a similar situation and sees this (I spent ages on the internet trying to figure out how to open the boot without a live batter but with no success - didn't think to log on to this forum, not been on (until today) since the first few months of owning the car which is a couple of years ago now).

Anyway, not looking for a reply, just for interest in case of use to someone else.
