Help with Sat Nav

Hi

I have a Toyota Yaris, bought in 2019 when it was 2 years old. The sat nav is no longer coming on when I put in directions to get to places, I've tried youtube videos but nothing works. All advice would be welcome.

That's vague. Do you mean the nav isn't displaying at all for you to put a destination in, or do you mean you can put a destination in but it then doesn't give directions?

If the latter, what actually happens? (No route calculation, no route display, no voice, ...?)

Please give as much detail as possible. Too much is better than missing out a crucial clue.
