Second hand ECU unit for a RAV 4 EXCELL 2019

Hi, My ECU was cooked by trying when an idiot tried to jump start it and put the + and - the wrong way round.

A new unit is about £1500 inc VAT are there any reliable second hand ECU suppliers

who diagnosed it as an ecu ?

the garage where I took it for repair, they are not Toyota specialists but have been going there for years without any issues.

The 2 parts of the transmission the Electric and petrol are not talking to each other, so when the Electric Battery runs down the engine does not fire up.

If you are positive it's the ECU then go to an online car breaker where you fill out the online form with your requirements and it goes out to breakers all over the country. They will come back to you with a price included postage. Wouldn't know what's involved in fitting something like that so will leave to others to advise. Good luck.
