XP130 Yaris 1.33 Dual VVT-i service interval?

Hello!

My family has a 2017 XP130 Yaris with 1.33 Dual VVT-i 73kw gasoline engine and 6-speed manual transmission. The mileage is just about 100 000 km.

I have some questions about it:

1. Is it reasonable to change the oil and filters for every 10 000 km and not 15 000 or 20 000 km?

2. Since it's a 2017 car and has no warranty, then could anyone share Toyota's maintenance schedule, like when it's the time to change the timing chain, water pump, spark plugs or else?

3. Could anyone share a workshop manual of this car?

Big thanks for everyone!

Hi,

check with your dealer depending on which country you are you might have relax warranty available if you service your car within dealer network. It might make sense. If you are about diy you should still follow the manufacturer service intervals and procedures. If oil change is 15000km or 12 months, staying within these will be ok.

20000km is too long intervals and not recommended by Toyota.
If you prefer to do early oil changes that’s ok too, but not really necessary if you drive let say 10000 km per year one oil service it’s fine.
Workshop manual is available from Toyota website, https://www.toyota-tech.eu/Menu/Repair

Also there are plenty of YouTube videos to watch and get familiar.
Good luck
