Not in the instruction manual. There's a small push switch above my head that I am told by this forum is to switch off the internal alarm in case of leaving the dog etc in the car, and he did just that in a busy shopping centre.

The switch has no indication if it is on or off. Can anyone please enlighten me

Yes, it disables the movement sensors. Handy for the ferry or hot days where you want to leave the windows cracked but still have it locked for a little bit of security. Just needs a single press of the button immediately after you've parked and switched off the ignition.

Every time you open the car, it defaults to on, press it when you need them off

I assume it resets itself when the ignition is switch back on, as I said there is no indication.  If you press it twice you have a problem

Press the button and lock the car within 30-60 seconds it then takes another 30–45 seconds to arm

When you press the button, a message pops up on the centre of the instrument cluster to tell you the sensor in deactivated. Just get out the car and lock it like normal. The sensor is off until you next unlock the car when it is then reset. I used it in the hot weather when I’d had the roof open to avoid any flies that may have got in setting off the alarm, it’s happens!

You need to power off, then press the overhead switch.  A message will appear in the centre of the dash telling you it is off.
