Instrument cluster illumination

Hello i have just purchased a 2016 Vitz RS, and i want to know how adjust.

Press the trip button and cycle through the menu, some cars had a brightness adjust by the mirror controls

You have to have the sidelights or headlights turned on, and then press the trip meter button on the front of the instrument cluster, until it displays the panel dimming symbols ie, _ = and then hold the button in whilst the dimmer cycles through low, mid and high illumination.

The menu will not display the dimmer function unless the car's lights are turned on.
