Help with part (Connector/sensor)?

I have just replaced the manifold on my wife's 2007 Aygo Platinum. All went well , but I found the part shown below in the tray. It looks like a connector/sensor, but I cannot find anywhere to connect it to. Any ideas?

Looks like it's no longer used, 2 or 4 pin ?

Looks like a two pin connector, the other end seems to be a blanked off (black material , as the image below , definitely no broken wires. I did disturb the aircon/radiator when fitting the manifold, but the connectors for those are still in place. The second image I found when googling the part number, but as I say there are no broken wires on the part I found.

I went to my car and check.

Nothing important.  Just a spare connector or some sort zip tie onto the alternator cable.

Hi, many thanks , this was driving me mad, as I did not want to put the front back on, before I knew what this was.
