Can anyone on here tell me the difference between the HKS and Apexi boost controllers?

The electronic boost controller's all pretty much do the same thing. They just have different features, like the visual display and some provide a boost gauge, and some measure 0-60 times, and some will tell you what you should be wearing that day...

You can actually make an electronic boost controller which works exactly the same, apart from the extra features, and will cost you a hell of a lot less.

the Apexi AVCR is cheaper but it was recommended, that i buy the HKS EVC 5.

looking at the specs there almost identical though

and some will tell you what you should be wearing that day...

now thats more like it, but if i was to let the ladies drive my car i would have to rig it up so it said "mini skirt, high heels and boob tube essential" :P

I've got an AVCR .. and I'm using about 1% of what it can do ..

I set the boost and then let all the numbers wizz about .. I'm happy

lol, that sounds pretty much what i'd be doing aswell :)

by the way i've brought the HKS one now, mainly cause it smaller, but it does have more features aswell.
