Hi everybody
TPMS warning light on my Rav4 is always ON. Even the tyre pressure is ok and don't need air. I don't have a spare tyre
My Toyota don't have a reset button for TPMS, how can I reset?
Does anyone experience this kind of problem?, Any suggest

Thank you

You asked this question last year:

The chances are that the batteries in one or more of your TPMS valves are flat and no longer sending pressure readings. Did you resolve last year's problem?

Hi Philips

Yes I did it, I change the TPMS sensor and the light stop blinking but didn't turn OFF, now maybe I think it needs reset, but In my Toyota I can't find the button where is located, or if it doesn't have a button, how I can reset it?

Did you have the sensor reprogramed when it was changed.

No, it was not reprogramed, did need to be reprogramed? In a Toyota authorize service or I can do it by myself ?

This video shows a TPMS reprogramed after replacement. You can do this if you have a diagnostic tool that is capable of TPMS reprogramming.

Yes - the ECU needs to know the identity of the TPMS valve sending pressure data. So, until the ECU is properly 'programmed' the ECU will not know that the tyre(s) are at the correct pressure and the TPMS light will stay on.

It will be simpler to get an authorised Toyota service centre to do the job for you - and, TBH, it would probably have been sensible to get them to change the TPMS valves in the first place so that they could have done to job properly in one go (but it is easy to be wise with hindsight).

Hello guys
I check all TPMS sensor, and they all run out of Battery, so now I need to buy new ones.
Please anyone can suggest me a store or website to buy online, I try on eBay but nothing, because in my country it's very difficult to find original spare for japanese cars, and some of them are fake, so I thought it would be better to buy in authorize store.
I have RAV4 of 2006  europian version.

Thank you

Do you really need OEM sensors (~65...70£/1sensor)? I would buy them from Aliexpess 🙂 (~35£/4sensors)

I have one set on my shelf from AE:  https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001036479404.html

They are working (sending out data, they will work with car if serial numbers are written in car ECU) but I haven't installed them on my car.

Bought them month ago for Avensis but I got second hand OEM sensors together with second set of wheels for RAV4 🙂
