Toyota brake pads with Optifit discs?

Hello all,

I'm going to get new rear brake pads and discs for my 2014 Auris Hybrid.

I can get Toyota pads (part number 04466-02292) for £40 and Optifit discs (part number 42431-YZZAE for £67 (decent prices, happy days).

I would like to get the bit higher quality Toyota pads,  but I'm thinking (perhaps a daft question), but will the Toyota pads be completely compatible with the Opitit discs?  (or should I go for the cheaper, £32, bit lower quality Optifit pads (0446-YZZE3), to ensure compatibility?

Sorry if its a daft question, thanks very much, Mark

They will be compatible.  Fit whatever combination of discs and pads you feel happy with.

I would say that most used cars that have had brake work done, will have mix and match parts.
