I have been hanging out for this event since January last year. Now I have to go away on business, leaving on Sunday morning. Gutted

I was there, no digi pics though.

I went with Gareth but didn't see anyone from here, doesn't help not knowing what everyone looks like. (I did see Matt but he doesn't know me anyway).

I didn't recognise anyones cars either.

I was wearing a special shirt but nobody seemed to realise what it was.

I wore a grey t-shirt with a large number 2 on it. It was to represent my car, being a grey MR2. I also wore black jeans for the black interior......sad I know.

I think there were about 800 cars there, not as many as I was expecting.

It was a good day, with some horrid mods, which gave us a good laugh.

i was there with my good lady. i met matt and chatted to him quite a bit - a bit too much probably for matt as i kept him from his work! :D

he informed me that no-one he knew was here so i must admit i stopped looking. ive seen photos of nicola so do know what she looks like but i must confess i didnt see her/you or gareth around. :(

still yet to meet everybody off here!

nearly went over to a lad browsing the rogue stall, who looked like jimlad to say "hello are you jimlad", but then met matt for the first time who said jimlad wasnt coming!

glad i didnt chat to that lookalike and make myself look like a right muppet!

Jerry, I don't know what the pics were from last year as the event was last held 4 years ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's another 4 years until the next one.

But there are plenty of other MR2 events you can attend next year.

i was gonna post a thread about that car. G5 SPY.

i saw the chap that drove it and had a little chat with him, and then on the motorway home he was there too. we had a friendly overtaking session and when he drove by me, whatever dump valve, and/or wastegate tuning he has sounded very good, almost like a jet plane.

does anyone know the car and/or fella and know what dump valve etc. this is?
