Yaris cross recall

Received a letter today informing me that our car is subject to a recall, this is for the e-call system, it says I don’t have to do anything as it’s done over the air, starting from 12th October so it might have already been done, can’t say I’ve paid much attention to the e- call system but if it’s fixed it will show a constant green light on the sos button, anyone else had this..?

Yes.

Can’t say I’ve noticed anything different (either way) since 12th.

Yes, the button for the sos was green, so I guess it’s been fixed

Can’t say I checked often but don’t recall it not being “green” so I wasn’t affected or it’s fixed !!

Huh...mine has been green since the day I picked it up (Sept. 1st) and never noticed it being red.

Tbh, I never noticed mine being any other colour but green…

My light starts off red when I switch the car on, but turns green within 10/20 seconds.

That’s correct.

According to the letter, some units weren’t shutting down properly and so weren’t starting properly and the green light didn’t come on.
