They are rapid mate! As u say 1.5 turbo and 150bhp I've heard! Makes 60mph in around 7 seconds also!

Oh and blue and leather bucket seats as standard!

:D

its about time a couple of them started to filter over!

ive noticed a few importer with them 'on the books' ready to come over

but yes mate they are supposed to be pretty sharp, not a silly amount of power but the weight ratio more than makes up for it

they starting to come over now hey.... :)

The leather bucket seats were not stardard in Japan, they just got normal T-Sport seats but there were dealer options of Sparco seats or the TRD ones including the push start button

anyone know if the turbo has low compression pistons as std to the normal t-sport pistons?

*cough*

Well the compression ratio for the turbo is 10.5:1, which is the same as the t-sport right?? So its the same pistons then?? The turbo uses a different ECU as well....

I believe that EL Prototypes make pistons to your order, as they have a 1NZ-FE turbo kit as well...

hmm cant be running more than 0.4/0.5 bar of boost then if it runs the same compression

no worries! i know EL do a full piston and rod setup, emailed them but no reply

ideally want to be shoving 1bar and over for some serious gains

and low comps will be a strict addition as well as rods to save them self destructing :D

wel if there standard pistons that means we can run bolt on turbo kits then, only on low bar like but its betta than nowt!

The YTS-T also comes with a LSD i believe, something i certanly will be purchasing when i finally do my Turbo conversion

And i think it runs 0.4BAR boost, so i guess the pistons are the same

i could be wrong but that intercooler looks in the same position as the TD yaris yet still has a strut brace on it!

i remember seeing someone having trouble getting a strut brace on/for a TD yaris!

maybe the OE brace(if it is OE)or aftermarket jobbie would fit the TD!

Another pic of the strut brace:

The LSD was only an option in Japan.... :(

You can just purchase the TRD turbo kit like that and bolt it on, so if you do change the pistons and rod, then you can up the boost, and what sort figures would that be then?? On normal TS and 0.4 boost it's already 150bhp..... :bye:

Don´t you have of the turbo´s over there..? We have them here in Finland. Only problem is the price... T-Sport is 20k€ and the turbo is 31k€. Actually I was driving one last week. It was rather FUN! The differense wasn´t that huge... It just went trough the gears little faster. Mainly it felt pretty much the same as the normal t-sport (with more power). :hokus-pokus:
