Seat belt beeper.

Been using this Aygo for a month or so and the seat belt beeper is driving me nuts.

At my house I have a drive that is about 60 metres long and I have to go up it backwards. Most cars are clever enough to know you are going backwards and the seat belt warning is disabled but not so on this Aygo.

Are they all like that or is mine faulty? My reversing light works OK so the ECU should be able to detect I am in reverse.

Is there a way to shut it up without turning the engine off?

The Aygo is not stopping with me. I have just been preparing it to give to my son. My normal driver is a 2009 Smart CDI.

I wish it were still the Prius but a taxi put paid to that particular favourite until I find another one.

That routine worked or at least I got the B-on / B-off option. The proof will be when I try it some time today.
