yaris mk 4 right rear suspension creaking noise

I've been experiencing a creaking sound from the right rear whenever I go over bumps and make a right turn. I've taken my car to the Toyota service center twice and to an independent garage once to diagnose the problem, but they were unable to identify the issue, apart from noticing slight misting from the shock absorber. I initially thought it might be due to worn bushings, so I sprayed silicone spray on the bushings, but the problem still persists. Can someone please advise on this issue? Could it be the shock absorber? (To my knowledge, shock absorbers do not typically produce creaking sounds). Thanks a lot!"

It might be the rear seat mountings.Try folding the seats and see if it continues. If it does not, a little gaffer tape over the brackets holding the seat catch might stop it.

If not , try spraying all rubber bushes on that side and suspension top mount with WD40 (does not harm rubber).

You can try wd-40 silicone spray on rear beam bushes and se3 if it helps. Usually these cars has suspension noises from front arm bushes, spray these too and likely your problem will be sorted . 👍

I prefer 3 in one Silicone spray lubricant its safe to use on rubber parts but wd-40 is also safe on rubber parts and you can have a tin with the smart straw and spray head.
