You have a '96 Aygo?

I'm hoping the OP means 2006, since they were only made from 2005.

Hi Dean,

According to Wiki the idea to produce the Aygo was made in 2001 and sales started in 2005.

As far as fitting a Sat Nav from another Aygo anything is possible. In my opinion I think the cost to do this would be quiet expensive including any map updates etc. I would use a phone and Waze of Google maps for navigation.😀

Hi Dean,

I'm sure you don't have a 96 plated Aygo! But to the best of my knowledge non of the Mk1 Aygo's or it's two sister vehicles, C1/107 where ever fitted or intended to be fitted with a Satnav system. Later variants did have Satnav's but they may not be an easy retro fit for you due wiring looms etc not being there or imcompatible and lack of a proper mounting.

As Bper advises your best getting a mount and using your mobile phone with a suitable navigation app.

Hi Dean and welcome to the board.

Actually some mark 1 Aygos did come with sat-nav. It was a tom-tom system that fitted into the tray at the top of the centre console and folded down flush when not in use.

You can still find them occasionally on eBay but I wouldn't recommend them as they will be totally out of date and not that easy to retro fit.

As others have said, use your phone with an app or do what I've done....Buy a Garmin 55 (5.5 inch screen) and fit it onto that tray.  I used a magnetic phone mount and taped a metal disc to the back of the Garmin,  wired it in by removing the centre console (above the heater controls) and drilled a hole at the back of the tray recess to get the wire through.  When in use it looks good as you can't see any wires and the garmin fits flush on the tray area.....If you use the garmin mount it looks like a dog's breakfast to be honest!

Anyway, all the best!

Edit:  P.S.   The Garmin 55 comes with free, lifetime map updates so that's a bit of a bonus!

As Neil says , remember some Mk1 Aygos had a satnav that was on top of dash, but as mentioned as that now very old, just easier to install and get up to date aftermarket system or use your phone. Beauty of these cars fairly easy to pull fascia etc to hide wires if you want nicer install.

Yes I had a mk1 Aygo with one of those sat navs, it got stolen as they were very easy to pull out.
