Door speaker upgrades

Hey Guys,

My Avensis 2009 door Speakers cannot take the output from my aftermarket touch screen stereo.  This stereo was removed from my 2004 Avensis which also had crackling Speakers.

Has anyone upgraded theirs and if so, where and what size are the Speakers installed.  I tried looking on You tube videos on Toyota Avensis speaker projects but nobody has done one yet! surprisingly...

I plan to upgrade all 4 speakers - 2 Front and 2 at the back.

change the front door Speakers + add 2 sets of tweeters dash+front upper corners.

i think its 6/9 front doors, 6.5 on back doors.

Your TR will have 6 Speakers. Two tweeters in the dash as Moshe stated, front door oval Speakers and rear round Speakers. There are a couple of places you could visit apart from Halfords. Car Audio  Security https://caraudiosecurity.com and Dynamic Sounds https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk are a couple I know of, but I am sure there are more local places in Surrey.

I remember changing the speakers in my old Mk1 Avensis to JBL two way, 6.5" speakers in all four doors. The old speakers had what sounded like rusty voice coils, that buzzed badly on hot days. The JBL's were great. My current Avensis has the standard CD radio and original speakers, and sound adequate, so I won't be changing anything.

i did this upgrade to my car great job but i have a class d amp powering the Speakers as well as the stock toyota touch 2 headunit i might treat myself and buy a amp that would suite the Speakers i put in but not sure what ine to get. i dont need not massive amp just one that will suit my new alpine speakers
