2013 Aygo default to Bluetooth not FM radio

Hey all, just got my first car - a 2013 aygo! 😁

Very pleased with this small but very fun to drive car! I have the bluetooth model

One thing that gets on my nerves however, is that whenever I turn on the car, the radio defaults to the FM mode - even when the last used mode was bluetooth. Does anyone know if there's any way to make it default to the bluetooth mode instead? 

Also when I connect to the bluetooth, it seems to put my phone volume to 0 every time, even after the last used volume was not 0

If anyone knows anything about either of these funky issues, I would appreciate some help :)

Just spent an hour with dealer for the same problem with a Yaris cross.    Apparently need to turn off wireless car play on the phone    Going to give this a go and hope it works

This is a 2013 Aygo, it doesn't have Apple car play. My mk1 2014 Aygo always turned on the radio first, I just lived with it.
