Android Auto and USB Music

Hey!

I'm looking to upgrade my car stereo in my Aygo to add Android Auto. This would be the upgrade head unit from the sightly newer Aygo (2019).

I currently use the USB port for music. With this stereo and a USB splitter/hub, can I play music for a USB drive and Maps via Android Auto at the same time?

In a word no, android auto when connected uses the full bandwidth of the USB

the simple solution is to put your audio on your phone's SD card

Honestly it puts me in 2 minds about upgrading as maps I uses occasionally, but music I use constantly!
