Yaris leaking into car onto fuse box

Hi, I'm going to try explain it as best as I can and hopefully someone can help.

I've got a yaris 1.8sr 2007 jap model.

It's developed a issue where its leaking in the car somewhere into the passenger footwear but not in the normal places we all know and expect

It's leaking onto my fuse box and it's caused all kind of electrical issues. Car won't start, would electric lock, just lots of issues.

Has anyone had this happen before and how did you fix it.

Thankyou very much.

Picture is of water dripping from the fuse box

I'd suggest the first thing you want to do is find the leak and stop it.

Is the heater air inlet (below the windscreen) clear of leaves and debris?

If you pour water into this area, does it flow out through the drainage tubes?

What's the state of the pollen filter?

Does it have a sunroof and does that drain properly?

Could it be corrosion somewhere, letting wateer in?

Dont rule out a leak from the heater matrix or its feed pipes dip some paper into it and look for radiator fluid if not check out Bob sugestions.

I've finally got it inside out of the terrible weather we are having.

I've got the Battery off the car and I'm charging it back up to full.

I'm going to get the air compressor at work and blow away all the water from the fuse box and make sure no-one of the relays are wet.

I'll check the pollen filter and the heater inlets, but when I took off all the plastic trim from the wipers I didn't see anything clogged up.

It doesn't have a sunroof, I'll also look at the heater inlet pipes too.

Thankyou for your help I shall post if I find the issue but any other ideas of where to look or obvious leak points would be much appreciated

Its too high up for the heater or A/C also the water will smell sweet, does the car have an original windscreen or has it been replaced ? Look at the maker's mark or post a pic of it

I would think the seal on the windscreen has failed

After checking the windscreen is original, it's not the pollen filter that's good, not wet or blocked.

Water is running into the holes above the wheel arch with no issues, but occasionally I usto hear water gushing and slushing from the drivers side to the passenger side and then dripping into passenger footwell

Going to investigate more when I finish work at 4pm, with it being stuck at work I'm limited to time I can work on it or look at it

Wipers off and clean out the scuttle, it may be coming in one of the cable grommets, that's the only area that can hold water (blocked drains)

there are a load of vids on YouTube

not in English but you get the gist
