Satnav journey times

Does anyone else’s satnav say you’re going to arrive loads later? Like 30 miles tkk ok go and it says an hour? Or 60 miles tk go and it says nearly 2 hours? Most the driving’s on 70mph roads. Could they not be set at 70 on the satnav?

I find it difficult to arrive earlier than the Satnav prediction.  It nothing untoward happens I am close to eta.

Yeah? Mine is always way out on the time. Fee as though it’s working it out off the slowest routes. Old CHR had 3 options. Fastest, shortest and ecological. New CHR just gives you preferred route or shortest. Can you change preferred route to change roads used?

I did an approximate journey of 100 miles each way last Friday. My arrival time was within 10 minutes of the satnav estimate and I was using a mixture of local roads, decent 'A' type (UK), roads with a few miles of motorway. I drive to Enniskillen, (just over 30 miles), about once a month and the satnav always shows an arrival time within 5 minutes of my actual arrival time.

Is that a new CHR satnav or old one? Old one was always spot on. New one 1/2 an hour or an hour out. Wondering if the A roads are set at 50 or something
