Bracket in the way of the first coil/spark.

I can get the other three out comfortably.

How do I deal with this bracket without fully dismantling the brake fluid reservoir?

Hi,

it’s not blocked.
Unplug the vvti solenoid wire harness and all coils and move on the side.  Undo small bolts on each coil.
When pulling the coil out just rotate anti-clockwise little bit to find a suitable position and it goes very close to the brake reservoir bracket.
When coils are almost out you can position them on one side before fully out, their end is rubberised and flexible. It looks difficult and complicated but actually it. Is easy and enjoyable work. Best practice is to take one plug  out and insert a new one in, torque to specs and move to the next cylinder. When all plugs been replaced, put coils back on each cycle and torque to specs 10Nm. Plug back all wire harness including the vvti solenoid, replace engine plastic cover. Start the car and step on t(e accelerator or set in maintenance mode to make sure engine starts fine and works ok.
Job done. Note, in cold weather it is a good idea to warm up engine little bit before replacing spark plugs. 5 min in maintenance mode are just fine.

Remove the oil cap and use a spanner to undo the coil bolt

It's only a support bracket for the brake res

Help me out here fellas. This spark plug thing got me going round the bend.

I press the large black tab, it just won't shift. Is there a trade secret going on here? Maybe an incantation is needed?

Look, it’s super easy.
I did mine yesterday.
Here on the picture with red arrows.
Remove the nut and wiggle the hole bracket slightly to the wing and pull boil out and to the opposite side slightly. Goes out so easily.  Disconnect these harnesses too , with red arrows.

Tony,

Thank you for the above.

It was spot on.

For others that might follow this guide, just know you'll have to use some significant force to move the bracket.

I had to force it to the point i'd thought i'd damage something (bend it).

But, it did move. And it was gine.

Thanks for the guidance Tony.
