Gearbox oil change

Please can anyone tell me if there is a way of flushing the gearbox prior to changing the oil

I changed my 2014 gearbox oil genuine Toyota oil .the guy never flushed it I'm sure I didn't even know I should have flushed it .my car has got. 57k on it when I got my great box manual changed. The mechanic of mine said no silver parts in it but he said was dirty that's what he told me .I have new stuff in it .tbh I noticed a small better change going into lower gears when driving up into my driveway I put I. Into 1st because I go slow on rough surfaces like stony lanes . seems to go in better .
