my insurance company (tesco) didnt ask whether mine was t-bar or not either, only whether it was an import or not and whether it was a turbo or not

for my insurance quotes i did a while back, the only way a tbar adds to insurance is when fully comp, must be for glass cover or the like

The only issue I have with 99% of sunroofs .. they are UK cars ..

And the UK never got a turbo

So if you have a sunroof, ya missing out .. if you have a turbo, you'll not care about the bit of weight .. just up the boost a bit :)

I have a sunroof and a turbo, collected it today :)

are you crazy.... how anyone could not love a t-bar is beyond me.

having a choice of the exact same car in hard top or t-bar and the t-bar would win everytime. it just is so cool, getting the top off in the summer, going for long motorway cruises.... aaaaah bliss.

if you dont get a t-bar you will always be wondering about the grass on the other side being greener. having owned a t-bar, i have never considered the "benefits" of a hard top. once the t-bars are on and the shades in, it is just like a hardtop.

look me in the eye and tell me this pic doesnt get your juices flowing :D

I can 100% honestly say sunroof every time, the cleaner lines of the car is enought for me on its own, T bar just reminds me of 80's american junk :)

gotta agree with u there steve, was waitin for sum1 else to agree with me on here lol :D . the tbars when off just look a little, well, like a mod that wasnt meant to be. dont like the silly bar thru the middle. the only good thing i like about them is nice breezy days when it gushes in as u floor it, that would be kool but for most of the time in crappy england weather it just aint worth it imo.

I think we just found the whole 1% of the country that dont like t-bars :D :P

Is this right?????????????

I thought ALL sunroofed cars were UK cars!

Or is it a UK car with a turbo engine fitted?

Mind you, I have a UK brochure for the rev3 MR2 and it has lot's of pics of the Jap model, and one of these Jap models has a sunroof - but Toyota do touch-up a lot of their pictures in the brochures (like there's an identical photo in the rev3 and rev5 brochures - but the car has different spoilers in each!!!)
