RAV4 HEV 2017 service costs spike

Hi all,

Trying to keep the 10 years toyota warranty on this car, it has been service yearly from new, currently 55K miles. 

Last year, it went for an interim service at £380.00 when the intermediate service was £140.00.  Now booked for this intermediate service which I understand is engine oil and oil filter change (plus the huge check-the-box-make-us-look-good-list) at the cost of £240.00.   From £140.00 to £240.00 in one year time, for an oil change and a fancy online service stamp. 

I did not even ask how much would cost the interim one as I now considering giving up the warranty and do the service on my own as I always did in all my cars and motorbikes.  Just hope the hybrid system don't give me any crap for the next 3 or 4 years at least.

I just looked at Toyota website intermediate priced at £240

                                                                 Full service is £370

Still too much "inspections" for £370.00.  Oil, filter and spark plugs replacements only.

I assume they gave me the wrong price last year when I did the interim service for 380.00.  They said the intermediate one was £140.00?
