Starting issue

2013 aygo, turn ignition key lights come on as usual fuel pump works then nothing, sometimes she will then start but you have to keep trying as she doesn't want to keep running, once running she is fine.

Something for you to try:  When you insert tye key turn until lights illuminate - continue to turn the key until the  last click and,  just before you turn to start the engine, pause for the few seconds then continue to start

Immobiliser? (Do you have a spare key?  Does it act up on both keys?)

Fuel Pump on its way out? (Have a DC clamp meter clamp onto the wire going into the fuel pump and check its current draw).
