Whats different about import st185 to make it 225 bhp?Is it worth considering import or best to stick to uk spec?

Some of the higher BHP figures given on import models, is down to the higher octane used in the fuel, as UK fuel has a lower octane some of the power is lost :( .

My import GT4 runs on both unleaded and super unleaded / optimax with out any problems

And mine runs on 95 regularly enough when I take it to Eire. No high octane there and I always run out of octane booster.

So, can i use Shell Optimax?? because my beast is a jap import, it should have a high octane fuel, my BHP should be 225ish, will I get that output using Optimax? please help me out guys..

you can use regular unleaded, but optimax will give u increased performance B)
