Delivery update

The dealer rang last week to say that my BZ4X will arrive into the country in December, but I won't be able to collect it until early January.

He said it works out a bit better as even though it will be a 73 reg the paperwork will reflect it being registered in 2024 and means the this will be reflected in the value when it comes to part exchange in a few years time.

I smell BS. 73 is 73 and all a buy wants is milage and price.  If the same car has a 24 plate it might be more saleable but cost, not a jot.

Now if it was the new MY then that makes a difference.   My next car, 24 plate and MY21, will be discounted compared with a 24 plate MY24 model just 2 months newer.
