I amn having many problemswith my carina's brakes, mainly due to excissive overheating and when they are normal temp not an awful lot of action. The car has done 42k and on orrigional toyota disks. It also has brand new toyota pads on.

al the calipers are nice and free inc slider, and the back shoes are adjusted and operate as they should.

I am going to geta new master cylinder because it has become somewhat weedened due to a sever lack of use over the prevous 14 yeas (26k from new) and some uprated disks and pads. THis is where the problem occiurs.

I jhave the choise of EBC Greenstuff pads, EBC Grooved/Vented disks, black diamond preditor (i think) pads and Black diamond Grooved/drilled disks.

To add, i wil also be using DOT 5.1 fluid.

what is the best disk/pad combination here.

All adive to this is welcome. thank you very much.
