Yaris rear light issue

Hi I have a 2003 yaris. When the lights are put on the rear near side light comes on, but not the off side one. When the brakes are applied the nearside stays on but the offside indicator comes on statically.

Any ideas?😊

Bad earth somewhere in the rear light cluster ?

Bad earth, the bulb holders on those get corroded and rusty, check the terminals in the holder and go from there
