Avensis 2010 mirror repeater/indicator lens?

Hi just failed MOT on both the repeaters not working i managed to get to the connector on the drivers side and have 12v when hazards are on,  any cheapish way to fix the lens unit? It maybe water ingress/condensation 

was quoted 150 for a new mirror at motor factors

As far as I'm aware, you can buy the lamp units separately to the complete mirror.

Send Parts-King a pm with details of your car (reg.no, etc) and what you want, and he should be able to confirm, price, etc.

so i managed to cut into the housing and remove the PCB then wired/soldered in an interior light (LED type festoon), its all working only issue is that the lens is white, do they have to be amber/orange for indicator repeaters?

I had the same thing last MOT. I bought the part from eBay, and the garage replaced it for £20.

The lens on these repeaters is weak; mine wasn't fully broken, just micro-cracks from age that allowed moisture ingress to kill the little board inside with corrosion.
