Side repeaters colour for MOT?

Hi all did a bodge on my side mirror repeaters that both failed, fitted a white LED bulb, anyone know what the colour requirement is for the MOT ...can they be white?

Side repeaters should show a orange / yellow light - the same as the main indicators.

As above orange/amber. It's not an MOT fail if it's not working, only the main indicator needs to be working.

Thinking of getting some amber lens repair tape from Halfords and either sticking that on the outside =easy option or more difficult opening them back up and putting a little infront of the LED

Mojo apparently it is a fail if your front ones arent wrap around..thats what they failed mine on both mirrors repeaters not working
