Hi,

This is my first ever electric window issue in 15 years Toyota. Suddenly, the window system was making strange moves, not closing.

From what i can see / think, there is a problem with the inner cables of the system. The bottem inner cable was not on the support wheel. I was managed to place it back on the wheel. But still the mechanic system has a hard time to get the window up and down.

I think the upper cable is out of the support wheel as well, but can not reach it.

Has any one experiance with this issue? And what can i try? Maybe someone can find a youtube video for me , to show how it is done ?

Passenger or drivers side ?, this time of year the rubber can go sticky clean the rubber with warm soapy water, dry, and lube the runners with a silicon spray or ptfe like GT85

is that rust in the bottom of the door ? Make sure the drains are clear/and don't have their plugs in

I tried lube the runners and rubbers, but that is not the problem. Maybe that was reason the cable system got damaged. Is there a way to fix the cable system, or should i buy a new ?

If you look closely, you can see the inner cable loose. After seeing the video below, i think the whole system needs te be renewed 😞
